AI for Civic Data training bootcamp

17:30–18:30 CET

Agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and OpenAI Codex are rapidly transforming the way organisations collect, verify, analyse, and communicate data. For professionals working in civil society, international cooperation, advocacy, and open data, this shift creates both new opportunities and new responsibilities.

These tools can dramatically accelerate workflows and reduce repetitive work, but they also introduce important methodological, ethical, and accountability challenges. Poorly verified outputs, opaque workflows, hallucinated information, or biased analysis can have serious consequences when working in the public interest.

That is why we developed the new international training programme “AI for Civic Data”, designed to help professionals build practical, reproducible, and responsible AI-assisted data workflows.

We will present the bootcamp during a free online webinar on 9 June at 17:30 CET — a chance to explore the programme, meet the lecturer, and ask any questions before enrolment.

During this webinar, we will present the new international course “AI for Civic Data: A Practitioner’s Bootcamp”, developed by ImpactSkills in partnership with Open Cooperazione and Civic Literacies.

The session will introduce the core ideas behind the programme, the practical workflows participants will build, and the methodological approach that structures the bootcamp — combining agentic AI tools, civic data practice, reproducibility, and critical AI literacy.

The webinar will also be an opportunity to meet the lecturer, explore the programme structure and learning objectives, and ask questions before enrolment opens.
